A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to work on a major civil engineering project in the Swansea area. The role is to start in the New Year, is an ongoing contract and will include a mixture of earthworks, highways, structures, and reinforced concrete.
As the Site Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Accurate setting out/surveying
* Conduct quality control checks and build records
* Assist sub agent/section engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely
* Delivery method statements and risk assessment briefings
* Assist in the supervising of sub - contractors on site
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you need to be:
* Degree/ HNC qualified
* CSCS card is required
* Previously worked as a Setting out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor, Project Engineer, Senior Site Engineer
* Experienced in station upgrades, roads, heavy civils or rail projects.
* Must be proficient with most surveying instruments, be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
