Electrical Director sought after to grow and develop a new team for an industry leading data centre consultancy. The successful candidate will have a wealth of German data centre design standards knowledge and experience in developing and leading teams.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside the Mechanical Director, growing and shaping the future of this company's data centre project portfolio in Germany.

Having grown substantially in the last 2 years, almost doubling their global headcount whilst taking on some of the industries most challenging mission critical projects, their expansion continues into one of the busiest markets in the industry today.

Responsibilities

    Responsible for running Major projects. Takes Team Management role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc. (majority of building types)

    Lead and grow the team working on on mission critical projects, in the selection and application of engineering concepts and solutions

    Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for Management, Client or others.

    Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams

Requirements

    BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline/BEng General Building Services or have sufficient equivalent experience MCIBSE/MIEE or HND/HNC + appropriate experience or equivalent Chartered Engineer status Fluent German speaking and ideally fluent (professional working proficiency) in English Proven history of office and major project delivery in appropriate sector Stable career background in Building Services
