M&E Manager

M&E Manager
Working for a Tier 1 contractor delivering Energy from Waste schemes in the South West region, covering the Water, Energy and Renewable sector.
Location: - Bristol (4-5 days on site)
Salary: - £70,000 - £75,000 basic + Car + Bonus
Role Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor who has won work across the South West region and needs additional support within their Projects team.
Focused on a mixture of New build, refurbishment and improvements to large Energy from waste schemes, using various fuels such as Biomass and anaerobic digestion. The role needs a strong manager to coordinate the M&E sub-contractors on site, ensuring the work is being completed against the correct standards, programme and achieving the right milestones.
Your day-to-day duties will vary but could include:
- Lead and manage all M&E activities across the Energy from Waste plant construction site.
- Oversee multiple M&E subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedules, and specifications.
- Act as the client's representative in all M&E matters, maintaining close liaison with EPC contractors, design teams, and site management.
- Coordinate M&E interfaces with civil, structural, and process engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor quality control processes and carry out inspections of M&E installations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, coordinating input from design engineers and suppliers as necessary.
- Track progress against milestones and identify potential delays or risks early.
- Drive subcontractor performance to meet project targets for time, cost, and quality.
- Ensure all M&E changes and claims are accurately documented and justified.
- Ensure subcontractors operate within client and statutory safety standards.
This is a site-based role, working on a live project, as such, you need to be on site 4-5 days a week as required by the project. There may be times during progress meetings to be working from home, but you will be managing the sub-contractors delivering the work on site.
Required Experience
- Full Mechanical or Electrical qualification be it from an apprenticeship or ONC / HNC / HND / Degree.
- Experience in delivering and leading on the M&E package on an industrial / Energy from Waste type of project.
- Full driving license
- Must be living in the local South West region
