Location: Lewisham - Prendergast Vale School

Business Area: Kier Facilities Management - BSF Lewisham Schools

Contract: Permanent, full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £22,568 + competitive benefits

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Premises Officer / Caretaker to maintain the upkeep of the school premises to ensure a safe environment at all times, on our contract with BSF Lewisham Schools, on the Prendergast Vale School site.


Key Responsibilities

As a Premises Officer/Caretaker, you will carry out regular inspections, conduct minor repairs and proactively assess areas of potential hazard. You'll also carry out general grounds maintenance and manage any contractors who are working on the site. Any major reported issues would need to be highlighted to the Premises Manager, in order to assess any further work required.

What are we looking for?

The ideal Premises Officer/Caretaker will have operated in a trade environment and carried our minor repairs. You'll also have a good understanding of our commitment to the client and be able to build positive relationships with the school staff.
