We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways team based in Shrewsbury. Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire with hybrid working available
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £30k-£45k + Company car + Benefits

Responsibilities


As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Highways team. You will be identifying and agreeing the value of additional works, interim valuations, final accounts and the production and management of contractual documentation.

Your day to day will include:

  • Responsibility for the provision of estimating, contributing to improving efficiency and profitability and working closely with operations and design teams to ensure accurate and sufficient detail to help achieve project delivery forecasts.
  • Proactively input into the development of the business team providing assistance to senior management and project teams in order to assist in the delivery of business objectives and goals.
  • Agreeing prices with Shropshire Council, analyse scheme costs and provide commercial guidance and assistance.
